EXAMINATION AND CERTIFICATES


Eligibility for admission to yearly examination:

A candidate shall be eligible for admission to the examination if:

1. The head of the school certifies that she has completed not less than 11 months of the Course and that her performance has been satisfactory.

2. She has attended 75% of the formal instructions.

3. Her record of practical experience is to be upto date, practical examination will be conducted in clinical area.

4. The head of the school send to the council / Board the internal marks for each paper as well as for the practical.


GRADES OF BOARD EXAMINATION


Examinations will be graded on the aggregate marks of 3 years programme as follows.

Distinction

- 80 marks & above

I Division

- 70 -79.9 marks

II Division

- 60 -69.9 marks

III Division

- 50 -59.9 marks


SUPPLEMENTARY EXAMINATION


Supplementary Examinations may be held after 6 months of the annual examination.

a. If a student fails in one Theory paper, She will sit for supplementary examination held subsequently in the failed subjects.

b. After the second failure in the same papers, the student may continue in the school at the description of the institution authorities and she may appear for the next examination subsequently.

c. If a student fails in two or more papers, she shall repeat the whole year.

d. Passing in practical examination is compulsory for promotion to the next and supplementary examinations each year.

e. Students will be allowed to sit for one annual examination and one supplementary examination each year.
