The core of cardiovascular nursing practice specifies those roles,
behaviour, and processes that are inherent to primary, secondary and
tertiary levels of cardiovascular practice.
The Scope of cardiovascular nursing practice involves the assessment,
analysis, nursing diagnosis, outcome identification, planning,

These may include life-support measures in the acute patient.
Cardiovascular nursing practice also includes patient and family
education; appropriate referral and discharge planning; and knowledge of
legal implications.
This one year Post Graduate Diploma course is organized into 4
