Mission

CARE Foundation, as a part of its academic activities started the Physician Assistants (PA) program in 2003 with the following stated mission.

1. Identify for admission, individuals with the pre-requisite academic, interpersonal skills and maturity necessary for Physician Assistant (PA) education who have career interests that meet the underserved primary care along with other specialty practices.

2. Educate the identified individuals as Physician Assistants for supervised practice of medicine in primary care and other specialties.

3. Serve as a resource to the people, community, clinicians and health care system.

4. Facilitate and participate in research areas of clinical medicine, healthcare delivery and education.
