WORKSHOP ON PAEDIATRIC ADVANCED LIFE SUPPORT

A three-day workshop on Paediatric Advanced Life Support was held in CARE Hospital, Banjara Hills, Hyderabad on the 2^nd,3^rd,and 4^th of February 2007.

Conducted by the Division of Paediatrics of CARE Hospitals in association with Fairview hospital, USA with the aim of imparting theoretical and practical proficiency in Advanced Life Support Techniques in paediatric population, a team of experts led by Dr Sudhir Ken Mehta, Professor of Paediatrics, Fairview Hospital, USA and coordinated by Dr Ramesh Dasari, Chief Paediatrician CARE Hospitals conducted the workshop which was attended by 30 child-specialists from across Andhra Pradesh.

At the end of the course, all successful candidates were certified by the American Heart Association as proof of proficiency in Advanced Life Support Techniques.
