Projects

01.

Teleradiology

Teleradiology is a modern medical imaging approach that involves the electronic transmission of radiological images, such as X-rays or MRIs, from one location to another for interpretation and diagnosis. Care Foundation's early adoption of Teleradiology reflects a proactive approach to enhancing healthcare accessibility.

02.

PACS Solution

Picture Archiving and Communication System (PACS) is designed to optimize the storage, retrieval, distribution, and presentation of medical images. At Care Foundation, we have developed our own proprietary PACS system, reshaping the landscape of diagnostic image management.

03.

Telemedicine

Telemedicine, particularly through video consultation, has emerged as a transformative force in the healthcare landscape. At the forefront of this revolution, Care Foundation integrates advanced technology to offer a seamless and efficient telemedicine experience.

04.

Second Opinion

The second opinion module adds a layer of comprehensive evaluation, allowing patients to seek expert insights and recommendations from specialists beyond their primary healthcare providers.

05.

Machine Learning

Our current focus involves the establishment of a comprehensive repository of CT Brain scan images, a crucial step in the development of predictive algorithms leveraging principles of Artificial Intelligence (AI) and machine learning.

06.

Device Clinic

The web-based solution for managing patients with pacemaker implantations was developed earlier to facilitate easy follow-up and ensure continuity of care. This innovative application serves as a centralized repository for patient records, archiving the complete clinical history and details of pacemaker implantations.

07.

Anonymization of DICOM Images

Care Foundation has responded to a request from MallaReddy Hospitals by developing an application that anonymizes selected medical studies for research purposes. The focus of this initiative is a DICOM De-Identification module designed to enhance patient privacy.

08.

BlueSemi - Eyva Device Evaluation

The Evya health gadget has introduced a revolutionary non-invasive approach to health monitoring, enabling users to effortlessly measure six critical body vitals—blood glucose, HbA1c, ECG, blood pressure, SPo2, and heart rate—with a mere touch, eliminating the need for pricks or blood collection.

09.

CVD

This study investigates the early onset and prevalence of cardiovascular diseases (CVDs) in India through a multimodal dataset of clinical, biochemical, genomic, and imaging data from 10,000 participants. It uses AI and machine learning to develop predictive models, uncover patterns, and create an AI-driven platform for personalized CVD risk assessment.

10.

ECG Trace

Digitizing an ECG from a PDF document or image involves extracting the analog waveform (often a printed or scanned strip) and converting it into a digital signal for analysis.

Societal-Missions

The Little Hearts Project of CARE Foundation, established to save children hailing from socio-economically underprivileged families suffering from Congenital Defects of the Heart, has done yeoman service and achieved phenomenal success with about 707 successful heart surgeries conducted so for on these children, thus bringing happiness to these families and making hem useful citizens of the country.

The Relief fund has collected from donors and has provided treatment in form of interventional and surgical procedures to patients. The CARE Relief Fund provides financial assistance to people living below the poverty line to undergo treatment.

The Kidney Care Project of CARE Foundation aims to promote kidney health and offers care and support to patients suffering from Chronic Kidney Disease (CKD), so that they are able to achieve the best health and well-being possible, thus improving their overall quality of life. The Kidney Care Project focuses on supporting people with chronic or acute kidney failure.

Collaborations

International Institute of Information Technology, Hyderabad (IIIT-H), Telangana
In collaboration with IIIT Hyderabad, we have started a research project “CVD Fusion: AI-assisted Disease State Prediction for Cardiac diseases”.
  • Holistic Assessment Approach: The project involves conducting cardiac risk assessment for individuals aged 25 to 55, encompassing a questionnaire and blood tests (HBA1c, Lipid profile, Apolipo-B). Participants who have a family history of cardiovascular disease at a young age will undergo a genetic test to evaluate their potential risk for disease manifestation.
  • Risk Stratification: Participants will be categorized into low, moderate, or high-risk groups based on assessment scores. Further assessments will be offered to individuals in the high-risk categories. The participants will receive the consolidated report within 3-4 days.
  • Advanced Diagnostics: Selected participants from the high risk and moderate risk will further undergo a Ca-CT score test.
  • Data Utilization: Our ultimate aim is to curate a comprehensive dataset specific to the Indian populace, leveraging this data to develop an AI-based screening platform.
Stanley College of Engineering and Technology for Women, Hyderabad, Telangana
Collaborative framework between Care Foundation and Stanley College of Engineering for mutual cooperation in the application of Artificial Intelligence (AI) and Machine Learning (ML) technologies on clinical and imaging data for disease prediction and progression analysis.
  • Enable students and faculty of Stanley to participate in real-world, healthcare-centric research.
  • Leverage the domain expertise and medical datasets of Care Foundation to foster impactful model development.
  • Contribute to the advancement of medical AI applications with meaningful academic and clinical outcomes.
